Response to growth and progress by the initial high-rise ward and open-ended, low-rise consultation and treatment building
A plan was made to integrate and reorganize the conventional central building and maternity hospital, in order to establish a general hospital equipped with 1,000 sickbeds. This facility consists of general departments with 800 sickbeds, a maternity department with 150 sickbeds, and a premature baby department with 50 sickbeds, plus a healthcare guidance division for mothers, children and adults, a training division for nurses, and other units. The high-rise square building formation that combines two L-shaped ward buildings provides a local landmark.
